"> Het Nationaal Archief heeft binnen het project de rol op zich genomen als trekker van het conservering- en digitaliseringproces van de fotocollecties. Het totaal aantal door het Nationaal Archief te digitaliseren foto's en negatieven voor dit projectplan is 1,2 miljoen stuks. Daarnaast zijn zowel zelfstandig als in samenwerking met de consortiumpartners producten en diensten ontwikkeld voor de educatieve instellingen, breed publiek en creatieve industrie. Tijdens deze presentatie zal aandacht besteed worden aan drie van deze deelprojecten: - Nationaal Archief joins Flickr - Mapit1418 - Nationaal Archief joins Wikipedia Bijzondere aandacht zal er gegeven worden aan Mapit1418.nl: een website die toegang geeft tot een bijzondere selectie fotomateriaal uit de Eerste Wereldoorlog van het Nationaal Archief. In veel gevallen is onbekend waar deze foto's destijds genomen zijn. Met dit initiatief wil het Nationaal Archief via crowdsourcing alsnog de juiste geografische locaties aan de foto's toevoegen. Dat kunnen bezoekers van de website doen door middel van een kaart van Open Street Map, het open source alternatief voor bijvoorbeeld Google Maps. Daarnaast kunnen bezoekers hun eigen foto's van dezelfde locaties anno nu toevoegen: daarmee ontstaat een boeiende vergelijking tussen toen en nu. The structure and contents of those XML messages is defined in an XML Schema document. XML Schemas for B2B communication are issued by Standards Institutes, larger companies or governmental institutions. Sometimes they are (slightly) adapted and agreed bilaterally between the trading partners. eb-Forms take an XML Schema as input and present it on-the-fly as a web form in your browser. You then may fill out the form and press the Submit button to send it directly to your trading partner as an XML message. Incoming XML messages are also presented in your browser as readable forms, which you then may print, store or reply to. XML Schemas must conform to the UN/CEFACT XML Naming and Design Rules for standard business messages.
